Finally, my main issue: The school do not sanction half of the students correctly. The detentions do not make a difference to behavior.

The school is well kitted out in terms of facilities that may aid learning. It also offers multiple in-and-out of country trips, with consideration to financial position. The school's English, IT, French, Art, RE and technology classes appear to be the most efficient.

I am an ex student from the school and i am very afforded by the swearing and smoking of these children. the head teacher is obviously oblivious to this and under qualified to work with children!

As a student, I have to say there are probably some teachers in the school that are causing our grades to drop. The head-teacher and a few of the deputy heads are not on top of situations such as Homophobia, Bullying, certain disabilities (the elevator only reaches 2/3 floors, but this is most likely due to structural issue). Student language is revolting in and out of school.

The p.e teachers hold me down in the swimming pool changing rooms and make fun of my swimming trunks while punching me.

There's an indoor swimming pool, and multiple PE halls, gyms etc- the school is good for athletics.

Though I would still recommend it as a secondary school as there is a chance you will get high grades if you put a lot of effort in. Don't rely on the most of the teachers all the time. The sixth form is decent. As of yet, the disadvantages have NOT hindered the school too much.
